Please join us for the next hike on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at 8:00 am. We will meet at the Equestrian Center at Laguna Park, on the corner of Euclid and Lakeview. Wear comfortable shoes & bring water to drink. We hope you will join us for an informative and enjoyable outdoor excursion along the trails with spectacular views.

As the days shorten, we return to hiking in the morning.  Native buckwheat flowers dry to a rusty red, and the prickly pear cactus fruit ripens.  The coastal sage scrub habitat begins to break its summertime dormancy in September.
